My name is Anja Freundl, I am a mother of three from Schleswig-Holstein and the founder of Blush&Cherry.

For as long as I can remember, I've had a special interest in hands and nails. This interest began in elementary school, as I was a nail biter myself as a child and always admired beautiful hands. To this day, I can distinguish my entire circle of friends by their hands, and I can even remember exactly what the hands of every single one of my elementary and high school classmates looked like.

Sounds strange? Maybe. But the fact is that when many people meet someone, the very first thing they notice is their hands. Whether it's the shape and neatness of their fingernails or their overall appearance, hands often subconsciously contribute to how likeable you find someone. Well-groomed hands are considered a person's calling card for a reason. In the Middle Ages, the well-groomed appearance of hands betrayed membership in the upper social class. Hands are visible at all times. We use them to gesture and write, greet, and touch other people.

I've tried many things to make my hands look good. From gel nail polish to acrylic, shellac, and traditional nail polish... All of these methods had at least one drawback for me. Stripped-down nail layers, broken, damaged nails, a lack of stability, dependence on nail salons, thick, simply artificial-looking nails—something was always not quite perfect.

And then I came across nail wraps. Since my own nails are very soft, I'm personally a fan of UV nail wraps, as they strengthen my nails without making them look artificial and thick. I'm 100% convinced by nail wraps, so combining my lifelong passion for hands with a truly compelling product in an independent business was the only logical step for me.

Of course, I'm not the only one – there are now numerous, sometimes very successful, providers of nail foils. I haven't reinvented the wheel. But I have discovered a product that I'm passionate about and that I believe far too few women are aware of.
